- The Mont Saint-Michel (45 minutes from our house). This thousand-year-old architectural masterpiece with its impressive abbey rises from the water of one of the most beautiful bays in the world. But other abbeys such as Hambye, la Lucerne d'Outremer and Cerisy-la-Forêt are also worth a visit.
- De Bay Road, from Avranches to Granville. Beautiful panoramas and authentic villages such as Saint-Jean-le-Thomas, Carolles, Saint-Pair sur Mer are certainly on your way.
- Granville, with its sea and fishing activities, its old upper town and the Christian Dior Museum.
- Avranches and its museum of the manuscripts of Mont Saint-Michel: the Scriptorial.
- Villedieu-les-Poêles, home of the copper industry, can be explored through its narrow streets and picturesque workshop courtyards. The Poeslerie Museum and the House of the Lacemaker is a must to visit.
- The Channel Coast offers an extraordinary variety of coastal landscapes. The 360km of coastline are home to charming seaside resorts.
- The (D-Day) landing beaches, Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, are both just an hour away from the house.
- Bayeux, with its famous Tapestry of Queen Matilda, Art and History museum, medieval quarter and cathedral.
